Fight the New Drug. I’m not talking about Opiod or Heroin use. I am talking about pornography use, which is equally addictive (remapping your brain) and destroying far more lives. I can tell you from those I encounter– this addiction is leaving youth and adults feeling confused, ashamed, helpless and alone.
Parents, children are being affected at increasingly younger ages. Once they make the first click – the curiosity can be hard to stop. There are tens of millions of videos free for a click of the mouse. The industry will do whatever it takes to hook you and your children. Well over 50% of it contains violence and perversion. Hardcore is the normal as it is needed to feed the addiction. And when your children stumble across it or it is put in front of them - will they be empowered to know what to do? Will they be able to come talk to you about it? Do you know how to help them if they are hooked?
