St. Mary's Knights of Columbus raised $1,300 at their annual golf outing and added 700 for a donation of $2,000 to Habitat.
During Lent - parishioners made donations to the Habitat Project. Iowa City Crisis Center
For many years, St. Mary's has had a collection of non-perishable food items for the Iowa City Crisis Center, on the first weekend of the month. With the new Solon Food Pantry - donations will alternate monthly between the two food banks
Solon Care Center Christmas Gifts
Watch for the Giving Tree in November for the Solon Nursing Care Residents. Wish Lists are provided for each resident. In December, 4th graders deliver the gifts and visit with the residents.
